Sales Manager 


PURPOSE


To manage, inspire and develop the Tailor made and to achieve and exceed budgeted targets. To manage the various functions that support the ongoing effectiveness of the related teams. Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Manager will be responsible for the delivery of maximum sustainable profits and the creation of a culture of excellence in customer service.


Responsibilities


* To exceed the minimum key performance indicators

* To carry out one formal performance review each month and review performance against KPI’s and budget.

* Identify booking trends within the market, working with related teams to capitalise on opportunities.

* To ensure resource exists to achieve and exceed the sales targets. Manage and balance, holidays, educational trips and sickness to ensure optimum cover is provided to deliver excellent customer service across all destinations. To actively intervene and re-allocate resource when necessary.

* Ensure all enquiries are responded to appropriately and efficiently within the KPI’s.

* Managing poor performance through the Performance Management process in an effective, timely and decisive manner. 

* Effectively managing good performance - to maintain and build enthusiasm, celebrate success; to constantly challenge; to invest in further developing skills and then promoting/sharing their best practice techniques across the office.

* Communicating targets and leading performance reviews.

* Regularly report to the dedicated departments any relevant barriers to sale.

* To provide accurate sales forecasting reports when required.

* To ensure that all clients have a consistently excellent service from the very start of their contact with the company to their conversations.

* Take responsibility for problem solving in a professional and diplomatic manner to maintain customer service levels.

* Ensure that all clients are communicated with proactively and according to agreed timescales and procedures.

* Helping to improve all processes, procedures, ensuring the company is robust and increasingly efficient. Ensuring best practice is delivered across all departments and efficient working practices are adhered to.

* To provide timely and accurate reports on the sales performance of the teams as requested by the General Manager.

* Work with the Client relations manager to ensure that any issues which arise are dealt with promptly and sympathetically in order to achieve client satisfaction and retention.


About You


* Experience in leading a sales team within the industry

* Minimum of two years' management experience within the industry

* Proven sales background

* Ideally experience in leading a high performing team

* Passion for training and coaching others

* Leading the team by example

Service Manager: 

Responsibilities: 

* Observe and operate at all times in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.

* Provide a flexible working pattern, to ensure the smooth operation of service, including working out of core hours, weekends and public holidays.

* To undertake any other duties appropriate and as reasonably required, to meet the changing needs of the service.

* Ensuring service user needs and business objectives are met.

* Ensure effective on call cover for designated services

* Responsible for keeping up-to-date with any changes, or new legislation affecting the provision of services.

* Delivery of training for inductees and existing employees, as required.

* Facilitate inspections to ensure 100% compliant.

* Responsible for ensuring the service has the required level of resources to support the service users. Including ensuring that the service is fully staffed according to agreed levels.

* Maintain the resource maps, working with the scheduling department.

* Monitor service provision, to ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation, in line with organisational, regulatory and legal requirements.

* Support Quality Assurance activities of own and other services, achieving 100% compliance.
